Fear; is a mental health disorder characterise by feelings of worry, anxiety or fear that are strong enough to interferes with one's daily activities.
The fear of rejection or call reluctance, seems to be bundled together with the fear of public speaking. Until the day you admit that rejection is not denial, is not a NO for life, you can never overcome your fears. The fear of what if i fail, is the reason we are still subject to fear.
When we are at a tender age, we create unimaginable images within our mind in the dark because of fear, almost all of us is a victim to this. Take a deep breath and say to yourself. If i failed, get no for an answer. I still have a second chance.
Approach your fears with courage, it only when you refuse to try that makes you failed, rejection, denial and no is not failure. When you are disappointed, rejected, get back to your sit and begin to think of errors, reasons that get you NO. What are the things you said, do that you shouldn't have done nor say them, try to figure it out your errors and mistakes. Then go for a second time, never give up. You will be a success soon. Learn from your mistakes when people say no to you, it's a lesson, and lessons are the best teacher.
When you discipline yourself to to learn and ask questions, learn to speak confidently on your feet, your fears of rejection disappears as well. Your level of self confidence in all your interaction with others increases dramatically, your whole life changes in a positive way.
When i think about the root causes of so many mistakes and spiritual pitfalls in my life, the source seems to be the one and only, the ugly, fear. Fear will cause us to buckle and settle for less than God's best. It will cause to disobey after diluting our trust in him, and even when do stay strong, it will robb us of our peace and joy.
Fear gives nothing than sorrows, setbacks because you refuse to try after you failed once. Anybody that is afraid of failing cannot succeed in life.
CONFRONT YOUR FEARS
"Your ability to confront, deal with, and act in spite of your fears is the key to happiness and success. One of the best exercise you can practice is to identify a person or situation in your life of which you are afraid and resolve to deal with that fear situation immediately. Do not allow it to make you unhappy for another minute. Resolve to confront the situation or person and put the fear behind you".
Brian Tracy
He will never leave nor forsake you (deut 31:8) when you are fearing a situation or emotional challenge, really envision God saying this, just to you. He is on your side - No matter who leaves after promising forever. When friends, family members or co-workers disappoint you, he will never turn on you. (Romans 8:28)
So much fear is based on the wrong assumption than when we have made a mess of a situation. It's too late for God's help !! Says who ? (Isaiah 43:1) God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase "Fear not" is used most likely because, he (God) knows the uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.
God understands fear is natural. But whatever you are fearing - a health crisis, family problem, financial struggle - focus on the power of God who calls you by name, and commands fear to flee from your heart.
(John 4:18) "perfect love caste out all fears". When faced with even the deepest crippling of fear, we need to trust God with the confidence a child ascribes to a loving parents. The key is abiding in that love, on a daily basis, it has to be more than a biblical truth in our lives. We need to experience it continually.
"When you identify a fear and discipline yourself to move toward it, it grows smaller and more manageable. What's more, as your fears grow smaller, your confidence grows. Soon, your fears lose their control over you. In contrast, when you back away from a fear-inducing situation or person, your fear grows larger and larger. Soon it dominates your thinking and feeling, preoccupies you during the day, and often keeps you awake at night".
Brian Tracy
The Lord is my rock (psalm 18:2) speaks those words over the cause of your fear. God is our abiding place.
Fear has no place in the heart or mind of a believer. Ask God to increase your trust and faith in his willingness and ability to deliver you completely from fear and anxiety. Ask for a deeper revelation of his love, and watch how powerfully he moves.
